DownloadOccasionally, due to technical reasons beyond our control, you may find yourself temporarily disconnected from Littlewoods Poker. Players must accept the risk of disconnections as they can and do occur, however infrequently to assist with such situations, we’ve listed some of the most frequently asked questions and answers regarding disconnections.
What happens if there is disconnection during a poker hand?
At Littlewoods Poker, players receive automatic ‘Disconnection Protection’. Hands that have contributed money to the pot will continue in the hand up to and including the showdown and be eligible to win an amount equal to that of the pot at the time of the disconnection. Should a player suffer a disconnection when holding a winning hand, then a credit will be applied to his or her account. Are players prevented from misusing Disconnection Protection?
Disconnection Protection is for real disconnections only. Littlewoods Poker reserves the right to eliminate players from tournaments and ban them from the site should they be caught misusing the Disconnection Protection or participating in fraudulent activity.
What happens if there is a system disconnection during tournament play?
In the case of a system disconnection leading to the interruption of a tournament, the tournament will be cancelled and players will receive payment as per Littlewoods Poker Interrupted Tournaments Payout Policy
What happens if a player is disconnected during tournament play?
Should a player suffer a disconnection during tournament play when he has already posted a bet, he has thirty seconds to re-connect to the internet and resume play. If the hand calls for a bet which the disconnected player cannot make, his cards will be folded. In instances where the player had made a bet and wins the pot, he will still collect the chips even if he remains disconnected.
What happens if a player is disconnected after going ‘All-In’?
If disconnection occurs after a player has gone ‘All-In’, his status will remain the same. If the player wins the hand or a share of the pot, he is eligible to collect his chips.
When is a player blinded-out?
A player who is disconnected during a tournament and does not reconnect to the internet to resume game play will post blinds and antes automatically until he is blinded-out of the tournament.
How do players return to their table/tournament after a disconnection?
Once the internet connection is restored, and/or the Littlewoods Poker software is restarted, players should be returned automatically to the table/tournament they were playing prior to the disconnection.
