Your Littlewoods Poker bankroll, however, is managed in the currency you selected during registration, including Sterling if that was your choice. When you join a poker table or tournament, your buy-in will automatically be converted to the currency of that table or tournament.  When you leave the table with chips or money you have won, the funds will be converted to the currency of your account and be added to your balance.

How does the exchange work?

When you buy into a ring game or tournament using Sterling you receive chips valued in US dollars according to that day’s exchange rate. This conversion is handled automatically. Typically, our exchange rates are similar to those offered by banks and credit card companies. When you leave the table with chips or win money at a tournament, your money is converted back into Sterling, again using the day’s prevailing exchange rate. This amount is then added to your bankroll.

Of course, the rate of exchange may have changed between the time when you paid for your tournament buy-in and when you finished the tournament. In this case, your tournament winnings will revert to your Sterling bankroll at the new exchange rate. On occasion, this could work more in your favour, though it could also work against you. Over time, however, the impact is likely to be minimal.
