EUROPEAN ROULETTE RULES

European roulette features a wheel with 37 pockets alternating in colour between black and red and numbered 0 through 36, plus a small ball. The European roulette wheel differs from American roulette wheel in that it has one 0 pocket (the American version has a 0 as well as a 00).

 

To win, all you have to do is predict where the ball will land with any given spin.

 

You can place either an inside bet or an outside bet with a different set of odds paid for each type of bet.

 

Inside Bets:
  1. Corner Bet::  A bet on any four adjacent numbers.
  1. Four Bet:  A bet placed on the numbers 0, 1, 2 and 3.
  1. Line Bet:  Effectively the same as placing two Street Bets (see below), this is a bet placed on six numbers.
  1. Special Street Bet:  Similar to a Street Bet (see below) this bet is placed on three particular numbers, either 0, 1, 2 or 0, 2, 3.
  1. Split Bet:  A bet placed on the ball landing on either vertical or horizontal lines on two adjacent squares.
  1. Straight Up Bet:  A bet that predicts the ball landing on a specific single number.
  1. Street Bet:  A bet made on any particular single row of three numbers in a vertical line.

 

 Outside Bets:
  1. Column Bet:  A bet that predicts the ball landing on any one of twelve numbers on three horizontal rows.
  1. Dozen Bet:  A bet placed on any dozen numbers as marked on the table as ‘1st 12’ (1-12 hit),’ 2nd 12’ (13-24 hit ) and’ 3rd 12’ (25-36 hit).
  1. Even/Odd Bet:  A bet that predicts the ball landing on either an even number or an odd number.
  1. Low/High Bet:  A bet that predicts the ball landing on either a high number (19-36) or a low numbers(1-18).
  1. Red/Black Bet:  A bet that predicts the ball landing on either a red slot or a black slot.
