Casino Hold’em (also referred to as Caribbean Hold’em) is a popular casino game based on standard Texas Hold’em five card poker.
The goal of the game is to build the best possible poker hand using the two cards you’re dealt at the beginning of the game and the five card flop.
Keep in mind that in Casino Hold’em aces are semi-wildcards. That means they can be used as the highest card in a straight of A, K, Q, J, 10 or the lowest card in a straight of 5, 4, 3, 2, A.
You can also make an AA side bet when you play Casino Hold’em, betting on whether a pair of aces (or better) will be included in the first five cards dealt (your two cards plus the first three flop cards).
Hand Ranking:
The best hands are automatically formed at each point in the game.
The dealer must have at minimum a pair of fours to qualify, otherwise your call bet is automatically returned to you and you collect on your ante bet in accordance with the pay table.
If you beat the dealer’s qualifying hand then you collect even money on your call bet, and in accordance with the pay table on your ante.
In the event of a draw, the highest remaining card determines the winner. If you have the same type of hand, the higher valued hand wins (so that a pair of Kings beats two Queens).
