CARIBBEAN STUD POKER RULES

Caribbean Stud poker is similar to standard 5 Card Stud poker except that it is played against the house (in this case the computer) as opposed to other players.

Many people prefer it as there is no element of bluffing involved (which allows you to focus exclusively on building your hand).

 

How to Play Online Caribbean Stud Poker:

After you place your ante click the ‘Deal’ button to receive five cards face-up. Once you’ve received your cards you can fold by clicking the ‘Fold’ button (forfeiting your ante) or continue to play by clicking the ‘Call’ button and doubling your ante bet.

The dealer’s cards are then revealed and the game is played out.

 

A Winning Hand:

The rules of building a good hand are the same as 5 Card Stud, with winning hands ranked accordingly.

If the dealer has a higher hand than yours you lose both your ante and additional bet.

If the dealer does not have an ace or King combination (or higher) then you win even money on your ante (1:1) and your bets are returned to you automatically.

If the dealer has an ace or King combination (or higher) but your hand is worth more, you win even money on your ante plus money on your bet according to the winnings table.

 

Progressive Jackpot Side Bet:

There is a unique option available to you when you play Caribbean Stud poker – the progressive jackpot.

This side bet is available to all players. In order to participate, simply click on the coin slot above the ante field (you can find it on your screen above the card table). Each bet costs you $1, a percentage of which is added to the progressive jackpot pool. If you get a flush or higher you win a portion of the jackpot, according to the winnings table.

A new pot is started after each win with a minimum seed amount set by the casino.
