Playing video poker is easy. The key is to build your best possible hand against the dealer. 2 is the lowest card and aces are high.

Hand rankings for our online video poker games are as follows:

Jacks or Better:  Two Jacks or any higher pair such as Q, Q or K, K.

10s or Better:  Two 10s or any higher pair such as JJ or QQ.

Kings or Better:  Two Kings or higher, which in this case can only be AA.

Two Pairs:  Two separate pairs of equal value such as 10, 10, J, J, or Q, Q.

Three of a Kind:  Three cards of equal value such as 8, 8, 8.

Straight:  Five cards with consecutive values, not necessarily of the same suit such as 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. If your consecutive cards are of the same suit, you have a straight flush (see below).

Flush:  Any five cards of the same suit such as 2, 5, 9, 10, and K of Hearts.

Full House:  A three of a kind plus a single pair such as 8, 8, 8, K, K.

Four of a Kind:  Four cards of equal value such as 8, 8, 8, 8.

Four 2's Through 10's:  Four of a kind comprised of four cards of the same value between 2 and 10.

Four Jacks, Queens or Kings:  Four of a kind comprised of four Jacks, Queens or Kings.

Four Aces:  Four of a kind comprised of four Aces.

4 Deuces:  Four of a kind comprised of four 2s.

Straight Flush:  Five cards of the same suit with consecutive values such as a 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 of Hearts.

Five of a Kind:  Five cards of identical value (only happens in games with a wild card such as Deuces Wild or Joker Poker).

Royal Flush:  10, J, Q, K and A of the same suit.

Wild Royal Flush/Joker Royal Flush:  Same as a Royal Flush (see above) with one or more cards having been replaced by a wild card.
